THE WHITNEY MUSEUM OF ART: JEFF KOONS RETROSPECTIVE
My second project for the Whitney was a big one: Jeff Koons' first ever retrospective. I didn't get to meet him in person, but the big man did sign off on it himself. Koons is an artist whose name is synonymous with his art, so we opted to capture that in the most eye-catching way we could.
The Whitney was stoked because the show drew record attendance. Jeff was stoked because his name was front and center. My mom was stoked because the prints were all over the city when she was in town to visit.
