‘NEW YEAR’S READ’
After a year like 2020, we needed a true spiritual force to cleanse that RANCID energy. We needed Cardi B.
For the week between Christmas and NYE, fans could DM their intentions to a Cardi B Chatbot who would send them back words of wisdom (in classic Cardi voice), Tarot Card(i)s, crazy custom stickers, and all the good vibes they needed to conquer 2021.
The response was crazy (we actually crashed the Chatbot, whoops), and we got a press from a ton of places — like Complex and Dazed but most importantly the GOAT gossip blog Bossip (iykyk) — and quickly hit over 15 million organic views and over 250,000 were sent to the Chatbot. Plus, Cardi told me that my scripts were ‘not bad’, which was my personal highlight (along with THAT headpiece).
